PAPER PRESENTATION ON RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES

This energy is obtained from solar radiation, also known as sunlight. There are 2 types of solar energy. They are,
Photovoltaic Solar Energy: Photovoltaic solar panels absorb sunlight and transform it into electricity.
Thermal Solar Energy: Thermal collectors absorb and concentrate sunlight to create heat.

Wind energy is obtained from the wind and generated by wind turbines. These wind turbines convert kinetic energy into electricity. It is an abundant, inexhaustible natural resource. These wind turbines help to collect and convert the kinetic energy that wind produces into electricity.

It is also known as hydroelectricity. Hydropower is the energy generated by transforming the mechanical energy of moving water into electrical power. It relies on the water cycle and can have significant impacts. It utilizes the natural flow of the river and the stream through a powerhouse.

It is obtained from Earth’s interior. This heat originated from the Earth’s core. It can be found in the most favourable conditions, such as hot springs, geysers, or volcanoes. It offers energy independence because it is a domestic resource. It can lead to long-term cost-effectiveness.

It is a renewable energy source derived from organic matter such as plants and animals, and their byproducts. This organic matter is also known as biomass. Biomass energy, such as wood, agriculture, and organic wastes from homes. It helps in waste management by utilizing organic matter.

It is otherwise called ocean energy. It is the energy derived from the sea that includes waves, tides, ocean currents, and thermal energy. The latest technologies will convert kinetic & thermal energy into electricity. It can supply power to islands and coastal regions that lack traditional infrastructure.
