Hyderabad: On Saturday, the Telangana state council of higher education has formulated a ‘6- member committee to accomplish CET to get admissions in the 6 conventional universities in Telangana.
The associate persons of this committee are asked for examining the current selection process to perform CET to get admissions as the guiding principle of University grants commission and they are advised to present a statement to the council in a fortnight to take needed actions. Read out the letter given from N. Srinivasa Rao, secretary of the council, to the committee members.
The constitution of the TSCHE committee has chairman followed by a conference with VCs of about 6 universities on July 1. On Saturday, a letter was propelled to the members of the committee. These universities are conducting their own entrance examinations for getting admissions into PhD programmes.
