The SFI held a demonstration on Tuesday to protest against students being given admissions into PhD at Himachal Pradesh University without appearing in any entrance exams. It was a matter of shame for the University administration that was rejecting common students the opportunity they deserved. The student’s body further alleged that even in Deen Dayal Peeth, admissions were being specified to individuals coming from one particular ideology.
The counseling date for candidates who have applied for admissions to several departments of HPU under cultural quota has been postponed because of entrance exams for the panchayat secretary that has to be held on October 22.
