NEHU PhD scholar becomes VP of Indian Polar Research Network

Digital Desk: A PhD scholar at North-Eastern Hill University, Vivek Kumar has been chosen as the new vice-president of the Indian Polar Research Network. The Indian Polar Research Network is a national chapter of Norway’s association of Polar Early career scientists (APECS).

NEHU’s department of Environmental studies has issued a press release today informing the wonderful news. The press release congratulated Vivek Kumar for his achievement.

Vivek Kumar is pursuing his PhD in the department under the direction of prof Dibyendu Paul. Kumar operates the transportation, change, and environmental fortune of specified contaminants in aquatic habitats. The department wished him all success in his new position and also wished that he would contribute to the polar cause in his new position.
