DU, JNU set to introduce 4- year UG courses

Universities will form up some new methodologies for online education pushed by NDA. Some teachers say that they will lower the education quality and endanger their jobs.

Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University are about to introduce 4 years of UG courses and new methodologies of online education. DU had introduced 4 year UG programmes in 2013 by the US model. But when the Narendra Modi government come to the power, then they scrapped directly in 2014. Four years of UG programme will permit various entry and exit points with a certificate after one year, a diploma after two, and a degree after three.

Universities have fixed the lists of the approved elective courses- The students have not been provided with many options.
