On Monday, Jawaharlal Nehru University reopened its Campus for offline classes for PhD research scholars in a phased mode.
The varsity took the decision after the Delhi disaster management Authority on August 30 permitted the re-opening of educational institutions in Delhi with 50% capacity.
Schools and colleges and universities in Delhi were closed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
All the final year PhD research scholars, both day-scholars and hostellers are allowed to come and they need to submit their thesis before December 31, 2021. As per this, University decided on Phase-I reopening with 50% seating.
