The executive council of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Thursday has passed the new counter-terrorism to be educated to engineering students that states that “Jihadi terrorism” is the only form of “fundamentalist-religious terrorism” and communist commands in the erstwhile Soviet Union and China were the “predominant state sponsors of terrorism” that influenced “radical Islamic states”.
The optional course, named “Counter-terrorism”, asymmetric conflicts and strategies for cooperation among Major powers, will be offered to students completing MS with specialization in international relations after the completion of B.Tech in Engineering, and the online classes for the monsoon semester will be commenced on September 20.
