Police suspect it to be a case of suicide and supposedly jumped from the hostel’s 2nd floor and died but only a post-mortem report will determine the reason for the death. On Thursday Police have confirmed the death of a 26-year-old woman living in JNU campus under mysterious situations in the morning.
The deceased Madhuri Kumari was a PhD scholar from Buxar in Bihar, she was a resident of Brahmaputra hostel inside JNU campus. She lived with her husband.
According to police, they doubt it to be a case of suicide and said she jumped from the hostel’s 2nd floor and died. But only a post-mortem report can determine the cause of death.
The body of Madhuri Kumari has been sent for post-mortem and the correct reason for the death will be determined by an autopsy report that is expected.
