POST DOCTORAL RESEARCHER

The positions (two) are at the Department of Sustainable Energy Engineering in IIT Kanpur. The department is focused on issues related to energy, renewable energy, sustainability, and energy policy. Along with working on technology-related research, it also envisages becoming a global leader in the energy policy domain. In the policy domain, the department is working on projects in the area of:

• Carbon neutrality and Net-Zero
• Circular economy
• Green economy

About the role

The Post-doctoral fellow(s) reports to Prof. Ashish Garg and Prof. Rajeev Jindal and will work closely with other faculty members in SEE and IME departments on:

• Assessment of Indian government policies on renewable energy
• Ethanol blending and impact on the sugar industry
• IIT Kanpur Carbon neutrality project
• Smart and sustainable Kanpur frame-work
