Himachal Pradesh University receives 12 teaching departments

At Himachal Pradesh university, there are 12 teaching departments have been introduced newly. Also, there are nearly about 153 teachers have been selected. VC Sikander Kumar said that the University would set up a state-of-the-art practical classroom in each and every teaching department, and provided a laptop to all the teachers to support online education. He also said that the University will offer Rs 50,000 to each teachers as project funding to offer quality research work. A funding of Rs 1lakh is also being provided to each department for academic needs. He said that there are four new departments that includes data science, artificial intelligence, forensic science, ancient history, archeology, and population studies were started in the present year.

Online exams for classes for IX to XII The examination during 1st term for classes IX to XII will be carried out from the 1st week of September by means of the online mode till the schools are reopened. The period of the examinations will be 3 hours and the ratio of multiple choice questions and particular questions will be 40:60. The tentative date sheet of the examination beginning from September 4 had been declared. Said director of higher education Amarjeet Sharma.

ICAR exam for admission to agri varsities The All India entrance examination for admission (AIEEA)-2021 for the Indian council of Agricultural research will permit the students to get hold of admissions in comprehensive PG and doctoral programme in any government university accepting the exam and AICE/JRF/SRF (PhD) through India. The decision has been taken by considering the Covid-19 crisis and its effect on universities for authorization.
