The statement comes after when 3 students from Afghanistan had written to the JNU vice-chancellor M Jagadesh Kumar urging him to ease the process of Afghan students to get admission to PhD courses in the walk of the deteriorating situation of their country.
The Jawaharlal Nehru University on Sunday said that foreign students will get admission for PhD courses only if seats are left after being provided for Indian students who have already appeared for the university entrance examination. This statement comes from the JNU vice-chancellor M. Jagadesh Kumar after 3 students from Afghanistan had written to the JNU-vice-chancellor.
