PhD has become an important one for recruiting teachers in Universities excluding NET.

New Delhi: In a new regulation, that will be appropriate from the academic session of 2021-2022. PhD has become an important one for recruiting teachers in Universities excluding NET. The rule was initiated in the year 2018 and that will be executed in this year. In universities, candidates who possess PhD degree are eligible to apply for assistant professors. About 5 to 10 marks will be given to the candidate who has passed in NET exam. The UGC was announcing these new regulations. And later Union minister Mr. Prakash Javadekar said that they are going to recruit new candidates only if they hold PhD. And also they have given three years of time to assistant professors to complete PhD.
