Vadodara: MS university faculties of law have planned to accommodate a centre that will guide and help the people to solve their commercial, trade or family related conflict. The centre will be a useful ground for future lawyers to learn ADR mechanism before their practice in courts. Legal actions are time consuming and highly expensive. In this pandem0c situation, courts are remaining closed for more than a year. Prof. Uma Iyer said that this centre will helps them to reduce the burdens on courts. With the importance of ADR techniques like conciliation, mediation, and negotiation, it is known as a most practical methodology for sorting out disputes. She also said that the faculty of MSU wants their students, teachers, lawyers, legal service authorities to involve in the centre’s activities.
As per the educational departments of Gujarat government, a PhD facilitation centre is planned to set up at MSU. Vice-chancellor of MSU Prof. Parimal Vyas said that they will be having two members to guide PhD students in the way of finishing their research from the time of entrance examination to last. He also mentioned that every year above 1000 students have appeared for the PhD entrance examinations conducted by Universities for many departments.
